Surface Length and Velocity Sensors

MSE is introducing new sensors with non-fluid measurement measurement capabilities. Able to the length and velocity of solid moving surfaces with extremely high accuracy, these sensors have cost-saving implications for industrial applications. 

 The SLV is ideal for shorter standoff distances from 1 to 65mm. The optics and processing unit are fully integrated into a small and compact housing, and can measure velocity in either 1 or 2 directions. Options for measuring speed without direction are also available.

The larger LDSV uses some of the same patented technology as our G5 LDV sensors, allowing for longer standoff distances powered by a Class IIIb laser.
